It All Starts with That Initial Click

We simplify unique marketing strategies into clear, actionable steps to help you grow.

Ultimately, helping current and aspiring entrepreneurs to get more conversions for less money.

The first conversion that usually comes in a sales process is getting that initial click or, in today's era, tap (I liked the way GetClicks sounded better).

I say “we” because it's a strategy used to help you seem more credible, as if you have a full team of people on salary.

However, GetClicks currently only consists of me Preston Anderson, the owner and a group of Freelance contractors that I often hire for small tasks.

I didn’t hit it out of the park with my first few businesses.

Because, I had no understanding that the best businesses are lean, inexpensive to operate, can easily pivot when something inevitably catastrophic happens, while doing something you can consistently be passionate about and keep working on through ups and downs.

I discovered this after all of my first businesses only produced stress and expenses.

One of which was an agency business which, after my first few clients, consisted of me writing detailed reports to improve and create people's ideas that I didn't care about, to get them rewarded on almost entirely my contributions.

If I wanted to become a reputable agency with a ton of clients on a monthly retainer, I had to do these boring tasks and meetings using my creative energy to help get other people results times 10.

Unlike what most of the internet space hypes it up to be, running a full-time agency was not too different from having a normal 9-5 job.

I’d argue worse because of the added round-clock responsibilities, obligations, stresses and, most importantly, ZERO enjoyment of what I did.

There's a reason why all of your favorite business content creators immediately pivot to something else as soon as they're able to.

It was then I realized making the most amount of money just for the sake of it, wasn't what I was actually after.

I simply wanted to get a paid a normal salary (eventually more) to work for myself and do work I was truly passionate about.

While also removing the majority of the negatives such as high business operating expenses, obligations, and stresses.

I put my ego aside from all the time I spent on learning and creating my prior businesses (there were others) and reluctantly shut everything down.

Some of you may be facing a similar situation now.

You might have a business you've invested significant time or money in, and you're reluctant to let go, even if deep down you know it's a dud.

Trust me, do it, your future self will greatly appreciate you, and you’ll also likely be farther ahead in the future, by making the move right now.

I then applied all the best aspects of everything I learned on my journey of entrepreneurship from the world's best teachers to engineer the business GetClicks.

Essentially, all the good, none of the bad, only the work I truly enjoyed and felt great about consistently producing content for.
